Andy Bennett

Andy started competitive cycling 30 years ago and has competed in most branches of cycle sport with nearly 50 Road race wins under his belt. Andy still competes and races for the Onimpex-Bioracer Race team. He also enjoys just riding his bike and loves nothing more than fitting his panniers and going touring with his partner Hannah.

He started his coaching journey with Liverpool Century Road Club, gaining his Level 3 ABCC ( www.abcc.co.uk ) and Level 2 British Cycling coaching qualifications along the way. He was involved in the early days of riders who went on to professional careers including Mark McNally, Johnny McEvoy and Matt Brammeier. Andy is still a coach with the Century and their Youth Academy.

Andy worked for 30 years as an operational Firefighter with Merseyside Fire & Rescue service before retiring and taking up coaching as a business as fit360. He has recently also taken up a part time role back with the Fire Service for 2 days a week as Health & Fitness advisor, this involves carrying out the fitness testing for potential applicants for the role of Firefighter and working with individual operational Firefighters to help them meet the fitness standards required by such a physically demanding job.

Andy has a level 3 Diploma in Personal Training and also enjoys working with non-athletes who just want to lose a bit of weight and get a bit fitter and healthier.

Johnny Mcevoy

Johnny now 28 riding with professional team Madison Genesis for the second season (www.madisongenesis.co.uk/johnny-mcevoy )  He's raced professionally straight out of juniors. Starting out at age 13 Johnny rode for Liverpool Century. He Went to Belgium as a junior riding road and cycling cross with some top results including a top 10 in a junior cycling cross World Cup and 13th place in the cyclo cross junior world championships.

Out of juniors it was onto the Great Britain under 23 academy. 2 seasons out Italy on the road and training hard on the track during the winter in Manchester.

After 3 successful seasons with British continental teams he signed for pro continental team Netapp-Endura where he rode some of the biggest races in the world like Paris Roubaix finishing 88th in his first outing. He's built up a wealth of experience over the years such as 7 Tour Of Britain’s, 4 tour de Yorkshires and too many podium places to name.

He's spent a lot of time since a youngster trying to improve and go faster on a bike. He's now excited to start working with fit360 - "I've known Andy since I joined the Liverpool Century as I kid and I'm looking forward to working with him coaching. Throughout my career so far I've learned a lot. I've missed the break, got in the break, sat too far back in the bunch, won races, lost races, got through some and learned a lot. I'm excited to start coaching and pass on some stuff I've learned to others in training, race tactics or just trying to improve as a cyclist."

Graeme Veevers

Graeme began to work as a sports therapist in the last few years, with a keen attitude to apply sports therapy correctly to help athletes reach their goals.

He has worked with a diverse range of clients such as commonwealth standard Welsh weight lifters, professional cyclists as well as assisting all kinds of amateurs with sore necks, shoulders and backs.

Last year he secured a place with Team Wiggins as a soigneur, to look after the riders from an all round perspective, but on multi stage events like the Tour of the Reservoir, his skills as a therapist were invaluable for the team.

Sports therapy can be used as a complementary service to assist with recovery and to reduce the likelihood of injuries in a training block, as well as to get you into perfect condition for your yearly goals.

Graeme offers his services privately but a discount is available to fit360 clients, so get in touch via the website to discuss your needs.
